What's in the drawer
Checkbox (tasks) to complete it. Projects show a colored flag instead; use the Complete pill to finish a project.
Title: tap to change it. Typed shortcuts work here too.
Pills: tap one to set that detail.
Subtasks, Note, Comments and Attachments underneath.
⋮ at the top right for more actions.
Pills
You get the same pills as when adding (List, Schedule, Due, Duration, Labels and more) plus some extra ones for things you do to existing items, such as:
Snooze, Backburner, Pin, MIP (Most Important Project)
Track / Stop for time tracking
Duplicate, Save as template, Delete
Complete (projects)
Which pills you see depends on which features you have on. Tap the Edit pills cog at the end of the row to hide pills you don't use or reorder them.
Setting a duration
Tap the Duration pill and tap a preset like 15m or 1h. For anything else, tap Type a duration and use the number keys that appear, with separate boxes for hours and minutes.

The ⋮ menu
Tap ⋮ for actions that don't have a pill, like Focus, Set dependencies, Turn into project, Open in master list, Load saved item, Duplicate, Show info and Delete.
Hold ⋮ to choose which actions show in this menu.
Adding things at the bottom
At the bottom of the drawer:
Tasks: + Subtask, + Note, + Comment, + Attachment
Projects: + Task, + Subproject, + Note
Adding attachments is available on iPhone. See Subtasks, notes, comments and attachments.
Recurring tasks: this one or all?
When you open a recurring task, a switch at the top lets you choose:
All instances (the default): your change applies to the whole series.
This instance: your change only applies to this one occurrence.
See Recurring tasks.
Closing
Swipe the drawer down or tap outside it. Your changes are saved as you go.
