Overview
The Reminders screen shows every reminder coming up, grouped by day. You can also set a quick reminder there that isn't tied to a task, like "take the pizza out in 10 minutes".

Open the Reminders screen
On web and desktop, go to ☰ → Reminders, or press Shift+R. It's there when the Reminders feature is on.
See and delete reminders
Reminders are listed by time under headings like Today and Tomorrow. Each one shows its time and how long until it goes off. An icon shows what kind it is. Hover it to see Task Reminder, One-off Reminder, Due Task Reminder, Due Project Reminder, Habit Reminder or Bug Me Reminder. Bug Me reminders also show how often they repeat, like "every 15m".
Click the trash icon to delete a reminder.
A new reminder without a task
Click New reminder.
Type what to remind you about. You can include the time, like "call Sam at 4pm".
Or pick a time under Remind me: In 10m, In 30m, In 1h, Afternoon, Evening, Tonight, Tomorrow 9am, or Pick… for any date and time. A time you pick wins over one you typed.
If Bug Me is on, you can choose Bug me every to keep being reminded.
Click Set reminder.
You can also do this from Quick Add (spacebar) using the bell, when Standalone reminders in Quick Add is on.

Reminders for events and time blocks
Find these in the Reminders feature settings when you use the calendar or time blocking (event reminders are also in the Calendar settings):
Remind me before events: off unless you turn it on. When you turn it on, it starts at 10 minutes before. Change it under How long before: At start, 5m before, 10m before, 15m before, 30m before, 1h before or 1d before. Pick more than one if you like.
Also for synced events (Google, Outlook, iCloud): off by default, because your calendar app probably reminds you already.
Before a time block starts: no reminders by default. Pick one or more times to get them.
To change it for one event or time block, open it and click Remind me. Pick the times you want, or None. Click Use default to go back to your default.
Check that reminders reach you
In the Reminders feature settings, click Send a test notification. If it doesn't arrive, the message tells you where it's being blocked, usually your browser or your computer's notification settings. Reminders show on your computer while Marvin is open in a tab or in the desktop app.
Settings
On my computer: show reminders while Marvin is open in a tab or the desktop app (on).
On my phone: push notifications from the Marvin phone app (on).
Standalone reminders in Quick Add: adds the reminder bell to Quick Add (on).
Remind again after: how long Snooze waits (at least 5 minutes).
Tip: Worried you set too many Bug Me reminders? Open the Reminders screen. Each one shows how often it repeats.
