In the same place, check that reminders are set to show On my phone.
Open sidebar > Account & Settings > Reminders and tap the wrench icon to open Troubleshoot Reminders.
Tap Send a test reminder now. If it arrives, reminders are working.

The test reminder didn't arrive
Check that Marvin is allowed to send notifications:
iPhone: Settings > Notifications > Marvin > Allow Notifications
Android: Settings > Apps > Marvin > Notifications
Also check Focus modes (iPhone) or Do Not Disturb (Android), which can hide notifications.
Reminders arrive late (Android)
On Android 14 and later, Marvin needs permission to set exact alarms. In Troubleshoot Reminders, tap Allow exact alarms. Without it, reminders still arrive but can be a few minutes late.
Some Android phones also stop apps in the background to save battery. If reminders are late or missing, set battery usage for Marvin to Unrestricted in your phone's settings.
Reminders on my computer but not my phone (or the other way round)
In More > Features > Reminders, choose where reminders show: On my phone, On my computer, or both.
Timer notifications won't go away
In Troubleshoot Reminders, tap Clear all timer notifications.
