How to create recurring tasks

Turn an existing task into a recurring one

  1. Click the task to open its details.

  2. Click the Recur button (the circular arrow).

  3. Choose how often it repeats and save.

You can also right-click the task and choose Make recurring (it may be under More).

Type it when you add a task

On the web and desktop app, type the pattern into the title, for example "Water plants every 3 days" or "Bins out every Monday". The Recur button shows what Marvin understood before you press Enter.

Create one from the Recurring Tasks screen

Open the main menu and click Recurring. Click Add Recurring Task or Add Recurring Project.

On the mobile app

Tap Recur when you add a task, or open an existing task and tap Recur.

For all the options, like what happens when you miss one, see Recurring tasks.
