My widget shows old tasks
Open the Marvin app. Widgets update when the app has the latest changes.
On Android, tap Refresh on the Tasks widget.
Widgets also refresh on their own: about once an hour on iPhone, every 15 minutes on Android.
My widget shows different tasks than the app
Widgets follow your Global Filter, just like the app. Check whether a filter is on (More > Filter). Also check which list the widget is set to: press and hold it and tap Edit Widget (iPhone) or open its settings (Android).
I can't find my smart list in the widget's list picker
Open the app once so it can send your lists to the widget, then try again.
Checking off in the widget doesn't work (iPhone)
Checking off tasks and recording habits right in the widget needs iOS 17 or later. On older versions, tapping opens the app.
The widget is blank or says to log in
Open the app and make sure you're logged in. Then remove the widget and add it again.
